التطبيق المناسب للسفر يعيد حساب الأوقات بمجرد تغيّر موقعك، ويوفّر بوصلة قبلة تصحّح الانحراف المغناطيسي، ويرسل تنبيهات الأذان بتوقيت المكان الذي أنت فيه لا الذي غادرته. وراجع طريقة الحساب بعد الوصول — فالإحداثيات نفسها تعطي أوقاتاً مختلفة باختلاف الطرق، وهذا هو السبب المعتاد لظهور الأوقات خاطئة في الخارج.
Why the times look wrong when you land
Prayer times are not a lookup, they are a calculation from the sun's angle at your coordinates — and different authorities use different angles for Fajr and Isha. Fly from a country using one convention to a country using another and the same app can show times fifteen or twenty minutes apart from the mosque down the road.
The fix is to set the calculation method to the one used locally, and the Asr setting to the school followed where you are. Do it on arrival, not mid-week when you are already unsure.
The Qibla on the move
A compass points at magnetic north, not true north, and the difference between them varies by where you are standing — significantly so at high latitudes. A Qibla feature worth using corrects for this automatically rather than handing you a raw compass bearing.
In a hotel room with no landmarks, that correction is the whole difference between facing the Kaaba and facing approximately the Kaaba.
